Talk about a good business decision!! This field trip has about 70 students on it. Of those about 10-15 can be counted on to be in bed by 10pm, up at 7am and out all day conducting research and interviews. A further 5 or so can be counted to rise at about 3pm,...

Raised as I was in Rotorua, I have been to my fair share of Maraes. To be honest I never actually enjoyed the experience until January this year on a trip to Tamatea Marae in Mututi (in the Hokianga). I think I discovered why I enjoyed the experience so much tonight....
